Doctrine of Inclusion

Dr. Carlton D. Pearson, DD

“This is a faithful saying and worthy of ALL acceptance. For to this end, we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of ALL men, especially those who believe. These things command and teach.” (1 Tim. 4:9-11)

I've been listening to This Amercian Life's show on Dr. Carlton D. Pearson and it has been making an impression on me. For those of you that listen to our weekly radio show, you know that our faith is a big part of our lives and our studies into the realm of the paranormal.

That being said, we also present very controversial views of the afterlife. It feels very odd to hear that a person that was at the top of the Charismatic movement has come to a lot of the same conclusions and has been subsequently labeled a heretic. I have to admit that after hearing his views at first, my inner Baptist kicked in and tried to reject them. After a while though, I realized that what he was saying is what I had arrived at in my studies as well. I had just never rectified them with my personal religious beliefs. To be honest, it was a weight off my back.

The funny thing is I think Shawn was at the same stage. I think that he had the same reaction that I did at first. It goes right into conflict with what you've been hearing at church your whole life and it takes a bit to process correctly.

In short, I do believe that what he is saying does contain some truth. As I am not one to completely buy into something as soon as I hear it, I do have my doubts still. I will say that I will be contemplating this for a while at least.

It is definitely worth checking out so here is the link:

10/14/08 or UFOs over Alabama

Yes, the aliens apparently do have
the same fashion sense as Elton John.

Imagine Christmas Day finally coming, you wake up shiny-eyed and rush down the stairs. Your stomach slowly sinks as you realize Santa did not come to your house last night. No presents, no tree, not even any annoying Christmas music. Nothing.

Now you know how Blossom Goodchild felt yesterday. She awoke to find that everything she'd put so much energy and hope into had been nothing but an elaborate lie. I think the disappointment in the air this Wednesday morning was damn near palpable. No Light Ship, No Elton John/Orlando Bloom Elf Aliens, not even any annoying Greys. Nothing.

That being said, it is of my opinion that this lady absolutely believed what she was saying. I think that is why so many people jumped on her "Aliens will bring Love and Light" bandwagon. She truly believed what her channelled sources were telling her. To trust in something she did not check against the true light and love of God was her first mistake and it is a mistake that many New Age channelers make. Sometimes the enemy really does come as an angel (or alien) of light. Just look at all the damage that was done by that ship not showing up and tell me with a straight face it was done in "light" and "love". They aren't here for light and love. They are here to do exactly what they did. Spread as much dissent, fear and hatred as they can.

My friends, Blossom Goodchild was absolutely used by the enemy. Please pray for her.

The Dangers of Chris' Hot Dogs

Today, Shawn and I ate at the famous Chris' Hot Dogs in downtown Montgomery. (If you are ever in town, make it a priority.) It had already been a very stressful, busy day for both of us and we were ecstatic to have the break. As we talked about various things while waiting for our food, I started to notice a guy in an orange shirt that had sat in the booth across from us. As we talked, he pretty much just sat there with a menu in his lap and contently looked around at everyone. Then, in a languid grace belonging only to those accustomed to alcohol, he got up and started feeding the old jukebox quarters. While he was selecting his songs, Shawn looked over at me and said, "Now that guy is perfectly possessed." I had actually been getting quite a strange vibe off the guy for a while, but I had just taken it as the consequences of starting your drinking binge before nine in the morning. The more I took notice the more the idea struck me. Indeed, he did have a certain uncomfortable feeling to him. As the first verses of Phil Collins' "Another Day in Paradise" started to play, he turned to me and said "You enjoying that food, big man?" I replied, "Sure am, its great" trying not to make words sound superficial in their meaning. After a few more uncomfortable bars of the song, he turned to Shawn and blurted out, "Be a man and say what you want to say." Shawn then turned and looked at him for a few moments and went back to finishing off his hot dog. The man blinked and then said, "Well... I guess its time I get out of here." He stood up with the same drunken fluidity, took a few steps, paused, mumbled something incoherent, and then said, "Correct, Shawn!" At that, he thanked everyone in the restaurant and walked out.

After a little while, I started asking Shawn about what had just happened. Over the opening bars of Lenny Kravitz's "Calling All Angels", Shawn said "I could feel him coming. Once he sat down I knew he was there to check us out." He continued, "He started talking to me on the spiritual plane, all sorts of crazy shit. After he said something outloud, I cursed him with the blood." "Cursed him with the blood?", I said. "I don't know why I said it that way," Shawn mused with genuine confusion, "It just came out that way and then he left." After that, we promptly finished our food, paid our bill and left.

I'm not really sure what all that was supposed to mean, maybe someday I'll find out. Furthermore, I didn't know demons preferred Phil Collins.

I guess we learn something new everyday.

A Blog of Purpose!

First and foremost this blog serves as a way for me to document all the weird shit that happens to me and the other folks in our group in a candid and honest way. Secondly, it might just give the reader a different way to view the world.

It is in this spirit that I open this blog. May it help somebody somewhere to understand the world around themselves a little more.
